Unlike other psychophysiological measures requiring cumbersome electrodes and wires, our new measures of reward reactivity involve only the use of a laptop. These measures are unobtrusive, making them ideal for studying gambling behavior. Moreover, our data show that these measures of reward reactivity correlate with dark flow and can account for unique variance in positive affect during slots play.
